Hi,

i hope this is the right section to post to. What has been done with the GDT so far is really amazing! You guys are doing great work! I mostly got the information on the toolset from livestreams and webinars (Unreal channel, gdc, webinar)

I wondered if you would like the idea of having a little roadmap on the tools you are planning to implement. I am really excited about game development and i hope i will be able to use Houdini as much as i can.

There is a roadmap for the Unreal Engine:

https://trello.com/b/TTAVI7Ny/ue4-roadmap [trello.com]

As you can see it is not “much” in terms of information. But it is enough to get excited and to know the things that are being addressed/worked on.

I am super curious about anything that is about to be added to the toolset. I dont know if you can really share what you are working on - but it was always mentioned that the development of those tools is pretty open. So maybe this would be a cool feature to get people excited!

Hopefully some people feel the same way!

Cheers!

Hi,

in case anyone was wondering about this and has not seen the talk from Luiz and Michael:

They have provided a little roadmap at the end of the video - yay!

- Photogrammetry
- Animation Decomposition
- Pivot Painter
- Imposter Tools
- Destruction/Fracturing Workflows

Very curious about all of those! Here is the video:

The UV Tools look really great! I wanted to ask if you have an idea when the AutoUpdate “function” could be made available.. because honestly, Github really confuses me and i dont even know if i have everything correctly downloaded etc.^^

Anyway great work!
