krakatoa style rendering

I am trying to create a nebula fx,some thing like this
.
Does anyone know how to render houdini particles like krakatoa does?

Tried a glow shader but doesnt work for me.

try multiplying Of by 0.9-something,
after its multiplied with Cf.
you should get an additive effect.

I tried your tips,but dint notice much change from my previous render. It's pretty much the same.

You'll need a TON of particles, advect them with a pyro sim to get the ribbony look. Set their alpha value very low so that they stack up and get solid in the areas they're most concentrated. Point prims render very efficiently in Mantra but depending on how many particles you end up with you'll need to use a delayed load procedural for rendering

Can you get a Krakatoa for Houdini tutorial?I want to render particles with Krakatoa, but there is no tutorial on the web.
