Hi there.

I was running Houdini Engine 5.0(API:7) on 3ds Max 2023 with Houdini FX 19.5.368, and I attached the simple HDA showed in the
the following pic as a modifier, then 3ds Max just kept crashing when I was changing face selection. All infomation I got is "Invalid argument given: No data found." from Max's log.

If anyone have any ideas please let me know. Thanks.

I've found that if all blast nodes are replaced by delete nodes, then everything would be ok. Though I still have no clue about the details, this could be a walkaround.

Reviving this topic: I've been trying to make some HDA's for 3DS Max and I'm getting the same error and a crash. I noticed that it occurs after I put some nodes into the network: like Polyreduce or Labs Dissolve Flat Edges. It also doesn't always occur, only on some meshes, but I can't identify what is different about the ones that don't work. Did anybody have any luck in identifying the cause of this? It's hard to make a LOD tool without using Polyreduce node...
