Hi, everyone!
I want to share with you the great news that a version of COPstance for the Copernicus context has been released.
These are the same nodes that were in the old COP2 version of the plugin [www.sidefx.com], but now they are completely written using Copernicus nodes.

Of course, there are some exceptions.
For example, an FX-Map node is too complex to be replicated using only Copernicus nodes. Therefore, only the Quadrant subnode is available. But using this node and SOP Import, you can try to replicate the patterns you need (although it will be a bit more difficult than if you had a fully functional FX-Map node).
Also, there are no Fluid, Simple Perlin, Slope Blur, Tile, and Tile Generator nodes at this time. I don't think I'll add the latter two, as they are less functional than the existing Tile Pattern node.

Now let's talk about the main advantages of the Copernicus version of the plugin. First of all, since it is written entirely using Copernicus nodes, it is now a full-fledged Digital Asset Library (in OTLLC format). This makes it possible to make the plugin not only for Windows (as it was in the version for the COP2 context), but completely cross-platform.
Also, since this is an OTLLC file, unfortunately for this version (for obvious reasons) there is no trial version of the plugin. You will get access to the Digital Asset Library file immediately after purchasing the plugin. The old version will still be available on the site, so you can evaluate the functionality of the COP2 nodes of the plugin on it.

Also, another great news for you is that I decided not to hide the internal structure of the library nodes, so now you can freely view and modify all COPstance nodes!

And the last news that concerns those who have already purchased the old version of the plugin: you will receive the new version for free! Check your email, I have sent you instructions on how to download the new version.

Hello, guys!
We have made a tutorial on how to create a texture using COPstance nodes. I couldn't find a good place to post it in this forum, so I just added it to this thread.

Hello everyone,
COPstance version 1.1 was released today
In this version:

New 3D Extruder node
A completely new 3D Extruder node has been added, which was not previously available in COPstance (in the COP2 cotext).

In this node you can set both a height map (required input) and a color map (optional input).
This node has the following parameters:

New Anisotropic Noise node
A new Anisotropic Noise node has been added, which was also not previously available in COPstance, similar to the one in Substance Designer.

New Plasma node
Also added another node - Plasma, which was not previously available in COPstance. This node is similar to the node with the same name from Substance Designer.

New Liquid node
A new Liquid node has been ported, which is available in the COP2 context.

New Slope Blur node
Another ported node has been added in the new version of COPstance.

New Splatter node
Also, the Splatter node was ported from the COP2 context and added to the new version. In this ported version, the node parameters have been significantly improved in terms of usability, and some new functionality has been added.

Improvement in Seamless Noise node
Improved functionality of the Seamless Noise node:
  • Added a Phase parameter that smoothly changes the noise pattern while keeping all other noise characteristics unchanged.
  • Fixed excessive repetition of noise.
  • Added the ability to select a signature at the node output.

Other fixes
  • Fixed Splatter Circular node (fixed work of Pattern Specific parameter).
  • Fixed FX-Map (Quadrant) node (fixed work of Gradation pattern).
  • Seamless Noise node, Arc Pavement node - changed name of output port (to unify with other nodes).
  • Arc Pavement node - fixed random function work.

A great growing collection of nodes. I highly recommend it to anyone working with Copernicus. Thanks for making it, Quantico.

There's a problem with Splatter and Splatter Circular nodes in version 1.1. I think you saved them as non-commercial HDA, because when these nodes are dropped into the network, Houdini warns that it's about to enter Apprentice session.

Thank you for your kind words and your report. I just updated the files. Please try downloading the digital asset again.
Please let me know if you encounter any other problems.
