Tried the new Houdini 16.5 for ocean integration, works pretty fine. Took forever to render tho (only a 4 core machine/ 8 threads). Instead of using chops and let the boat follow along a ‚blurred-position‘ spline, I used an roughly resoluted flip tank and pushed the boat via velocity to get an realistic movement.
