Medusa snake hair Dec. 19, 2018, 2:56 p.m.
Hy guys,
I am a newbie to Houdini, and although I enjoy it tremendously, I have a long way to go, especially scripting, vex, etc.
I am working on Medusa snake hair. I found some example file for procedural snake body, used copy stamp node to attach the head to the body and then again copy stamp and scatter to distribute snakes on the scalp.
I need advise, how to get it all more randomized, prevent snakes from intersecting and finally to get them animated.
The way I do now creates enormously heavy geometry, and I'm at a loss how to get the above-mentioned issues resolved.
Here is a pic of work in progress to illustrate what I want to achieve:
Any help and advice appreciated.
