hello,

i have trouble, i cannot launch houdini 17.5.229 after installing it.

when i launch it, i have a Houdini licence administrator panel with this message :
“error installing key: generic Houdini-master-noncommercial 17.5 1 22-may-2019+.+.+.+ workstation a2d8bbdb…”.
i don't know what to do ?
can someone help ?

i have to same issue you have.
i try to do the same youtube's tutorial with houdini 16 without success.
is there a veteran than can help :
for example :
houdini 13 use VOPSOP node
which one replace it in houdini 16 ?
houdini 13 use subtract in VOPSOP node
which one replace it in houdini 16 ?

Houdini looks super powerful but is very frustrating for a newbie due to it hard learning curve.

Newbie to houdini, newbie to english language, newbie to programming : i'm stuck following some tuts.
this one for exemple :

i try to follow the instructions step by step
but when i had the pop curve force node and i set up the follow scale and suction scale parameters as mentioned in the tutorial : nothing happens.

can someone help : i'm sure it's a newbie mistake but i'm lost
