Hello, I am trying to set up some various hotkeys to help me when animating, but I am not able to figure out how to point to the Apex rig controls and their transforms. My old ways of using hou.setSelected does not seem to be the right way with Apex rigs or I am doing something wrong somewhere.

While the Animate state is active, I am trying to select a rig-control by its name. So pressing the hotkey for example selects a control called "cog".

I am also curious how to set their transform values through python, like setting the "cog/ty" value to 0 on frame 47.

I hope someone here can guide me in the right direction. Thank you!

The python API for the APEX Animate viewport state is yet to come. Please log an RFE if you haven't already to prioritize picking controllers and setting animation values from shelf tools.
