この HIP ファイルでは、Houdini 18.5 の最新ツールの Pyro Burst を使用した、基本的な単破裂型の火の玉シミュレーションの作り方を紹介しています。ファイルには、新しい Pyro Bake Volume SOP を使ったシェーディングおよびレンダリングの基本セットアップも収められています。

注: ボクセルサイズを縮小して高解像度の結果を得ることもできます。こちらで、このサンプルで用いられている ACES ワークフローのセットアップ方法が確認できます。

    My final render is missing many details on the surface of the fireball. It looks like a blurred fireball. The color is also different, than the preview above.

      There are many factors to this. I also hav same probably, and while I can't get it too look like the preview above, I can get it to look good.

      To fix the colors:
      You need to install ACES for houdini.

      To fix the details:
      DECREASE the voxel size in the pyrosolver node. (This will have a significant impact on performance, but will make it look good). I recommend a minimum of 0.02.

        What can be those factors ?

        Nearly anytime I download a sample scene, I do not get the same result as what is shown.
        I would expect, as this happens in any other 3d software I use, to get the same result as what is shown when downloading a sample scene.

        Is there an houdini mystery here ?
        What do I not understand ?
