Question on making a fluid shader.

Hello, how is everyone?

I am fairly new to making shaders in Houdini and wish to make a fluid shader using “Surface Shader Builder”, want to achieve a shader used for a flooding scene and high-pressured water.

Like to have parameters like Opacity, Inside/Outside IOR, Refraction Color and Refraction Intensity. I understand “surfaceModel” offers them but is it possible for one to build up his own? Also, is it advisable to include Subsurface-Scattering for such shader?

Completed watching Peter Quint's Tutorials on Basic: Surface Shaders and got myself started, this is what I got so far.

Any advice or help is appreciated!
