I want to render texture-files from houdini to use it for rendering in maya. I've got a character with uv's and I am storing informations in a point attribute on the geometry (collisions with other objects). Now i want to render 2d texture images with this point attribute based on the uv's of the character. I want to use this texture for some shading-effects in maya.
Do you've got any suggestions or just some key-words?
Thanks for your help!

You can fetch the point attribute in your shader as color for example, then use the uv render object mode of mantra.
If you want to control filtering of your attribute, you can use point clouds instead.
