Hi guys,
I'm new here (and in Houdini generally). I'd like to get into Houdini as I love Peter Shipkov's SOuP Maya plugins - which are basically based on Houdini nodes and concepts plus with the new version 12 (and I'm a fluids guy) I guess I'll have some fun
But now to my problem.
When I shatter a cube I got the shards on every axis.
Box > Scatter > VoronoiFracture
ok… and I played around with the nodes - scatter is almost the same as @SOuP
And I love the noise feature @voronoiFracture node.
But I need to shatter a windshield - which is obviously only shattered in one dimension (from top / Y).
It works perfectly when I try to connect a grid in the scatter node and extrude that. But then the noise is useless in the voronoiFracture node.
Which options do I have? Since I'm new to Houdini, a good explenation would be very nice
