I've been learning Houdini with Apprentice and this draws the lissajous figures and figures produced by the harmonograph. Press Play to run the simulation. Play with parameters in the vars node.

I've tried to comment the nodes –> I'd be keen to hear what you think of the skinning method used, ideas to use this a jumping off point to learn dynamics & shading in Houdini.

I was playing with the harmonograph and it seems that a complete picture is not generated until after 362 frames.

I'm relatively new to Houdini. How could this be easily modified to generate the appropriate harmonic image in less frames, such as every frame?

+++ sine & cosine functions modeled as bezier curves - edit them on the channel editor for weird warped drawings.
