Hello everyone,
Working on Houdini I feel like it doesn't use all the potential of the computer!
I'm running a simple FLIP Fluid simulation as test scene and what I can see when I start cooking is:
- on Linux - Houdini use only 1 processor at 100% while the other ones are not in use and the RAM is not not been touched at all.
- on Windows - Houdini doesn't use the CPU at all and use only 3GB of RAM on 6GB total.
Is there a way to make Houdini use all the power of the computer?
CPU Intel i7 Q740 1.73GHz x 8
RAM 6 GB
GPU GT330
Linux 13.10 x64 - Houdini 13.0.328
Windows 7 x64 - Houdini 13.0.328
Thanks,
Davide

This may help, for multithreading:

Ram: first time I've heard someone want their ram to be filled up Usually the less use is much better!!
