opening an older file in H 12.5.361 on Windows, now I'm unable to save it under another name. Error message:
Input data type does not match output ‘refr_enable’
Input data type does not match output ‘refr_model’
Failed to ave operator's instinct data.

Any idea? please help

Hope this is not too late but this is a shader probably the “surface model” vop in the shader. Check to see if you can edit contents/match definition on surface model vops. When you get that error you have found it.

The fix I guess is to replace the surface model vop with a clean one, though when I found this it was in a material from the pallette so I just deleted the entire mtl and replaced

… after many changes between shader-sop / material-sop and back I now always begin making new shaders for older files.
Is there anyone who has time to program a shader converter from older files
