Hi,

I've been using Houdini for a bit now and I am loving it, however I feel I am missing something simple. I am copying an object along a spline with multiple points using the copy to point node. However I would like each object to have a little bit of random rotation (preferably a range that I can set) on a certain axis. Is there a tutorial for this or a simple answer, I feel I will kick myself when I finally see a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Joel

Hello.
Use copy stamping.
In this case you need to use copy stamp node not copy to point.

Hello,

Copy stamping will work, but is unnecessary in this case. It will also make your network much slower, since each copy needs to be evaluated individually.

Using N or Orient, you can align your copies along the curve, and use attribute randomize to adjust the copies. There are, of course, many ways to achieve this. This is just a simply way.
