I am testing H16 apprentice.
I have created a box and then carved a hole with a tube using boolean.

Then i save/render it to disk, using file node, render to other - geometry.

When i import the .obj into another program, there is no hole. Am i missing a “render” or “compile” node in the end of my Geo node?

I can't find any docs or tutorials explaining exactly what to do.

Pls help

I have found out that the problem is in Octane Render standalone version.(maybe I am missing a setting in OR)
The geometry is not showing correct when I add the mesh(.obj)

If I import it into Blender the mesh is correct

Someone on Octane Render Forum pointed out that Houdini have outputtet ngons in my Geo, so that is the problem. It needs to be tris or quads.

Is there an easy way to change that, like a node at the end of my Geo before my null(out)?

On the Boolean SOP, change “Detriangulate” to No Polygons.
