See attached. It's some particles into a particlefluidsurface to a fuel fluid source. basic liquid material.

It's hard to say without being able to see your scene, but make sure you only have mesh geometry in your renderable objects, and not any fields(volume grids) of some kind. You can see what you've got by middle-mouse clicking on the sop node with the render flag.

Thanks, I checked and don't see that. Attaching my hip file. Note: The geo that's giving the problem is called barrel_source_parts, which has the import dop->particlefuidsurface->fluidsource.
