Are Houdini Indie users allowed to sell assets made with Houdini Indie at the Unreal Engine Marketplace?

It would be great to have an official answer so we can share it around

Also, I'm working on a product that requires generating Pivot Painter data. Can I create training material(YouTube videos and written tutorials) for my Unreal Engine Marketplace product with Houdini Indie?

Thank you!

Here is the official quote from the Indie FAQ page (I was wondering about something similar a while ago):

"If you produce final renders or baked out data for the large company then they are considered a client and you may use Houdini Indie. If you want to share scene files and assets then you are partners and will require a commercial license"

So the answer to your first question is no, creating educational videos and tutorials is fine.

So the answer to your first question is no

I'm going to assume ‘assets’ in the SideFX documentation refers to HDAs, while poster might be referring to geometry or ‘baked out data’? I'm not sure you can even sell hips or hdas on the marketplace.

Thanks for the replies!

By asset, I was referring to geometry(such as fbx) and textures.

EDIT: Actually, let's include everything an fbx file can contain(bones, animation…)
