hello!
can anyone tell me how i can read the instance number of point instanced geometry ($IPT maybe?) into a vop shader (i want to randomly generate a colour per instance)
i have seen it done by directly modifying the shader atributes with opdef, but you are essentially applying a new shader to the instance, i dont realy want this as the instanced objects already have shaders applied..
as in my scene.. the instances are from 6 different models, each model has a unique shop (all from the same vopnet though).
can i modify the attribute (colour or whatever) in the already applied shops?
hope that kind of made sense..
