How to create an instance with same parameter interface?

Is there a way to create an instance that keeps the custom parameter interface created in the "master" node? So that I can have a bunch of instances with unique parameter values (of custom parameters I've already created in the "master" node). I would like have only place, in the master node, where I can fiddle with the underlying logic that would get propagated to all the instances. If there's another way to accomplish the same thing I'm open to it.

Did you get an answer to this? I have the same question. I have a "frame element" (like the side of a picture frame) that is a geometry node which exposes a parameter interface to change the length.
I copy those planks to points — but I need to be able to set the length for each instance of course. How do you do this usually?
Thank you!
