For alot of years Im using houdini now....
We always using expressions like bbox, centroid,etc...
Wouldnt be nice to have a node that has this data available in a node?
to refference copy to other nodes instead of typing the code every single day?

I created them alot as preffs. but they somehow always dissapear on updates or new versions.

$OS in group-names.... they even cant be saved anymore by default (user preff... or others)
because its not working anymore after I guess 18.5...?
(but thats another problem)

but I couldnt find any other related group...

Its technical.... and I guess also a discussion???

Make a HDA? You can save expressions as "default value".

I've been thinking about creating some right-click menu items that can create parameters like this on demand, but haven't gotten around to it.

Btw it may be disappearing when you update to a new version of houdini because the presets folder is in the My Documents/houdiniXX.X folder. So if you went from houdini19.0 to houdini19.5 you would need to copy the presets folder to the new houdini folder.

Alternatively, you can store presets in packages folders which is something I want to detail in a tutorial pretty soon because it's not really well documented... if at all.
