Trying to divide the primitive vertically into 3 parts.
I have tried doing it with the edge divide, subdivide and poly cut tool, but can not seem to figure out how to do it.
Doing it manually is not an option for me.
How to cut primitive only vertically

look for the divide equally tool here, it's great:

Polyslice SOP is the other option I think. I don't know how that compares to the HDA CYTE is suggesting.
I tried to create it with a polycut, but no dice.

Hello,
Here's I'm using clip, but you can also use boolean or divide OP as suggested.
However the key is to first move and align the geometry to the world origin, using the axe of you want (+Z in this example).
Also I'm assuming you only need to rotate around the Y axis for vertical slice.
Close, but the amount of slices are dynamic. I have been trying to apply your nodes inside of a for loop, but they just dont merge cleanly into one finished polygon with all the seperate parts.

Once oriented/aligned to the origin you can chose whatever strategy you want to do the slice. There might be some flow how I orient the plane tho, but without any context it's hard to understand. You can also pre-uv those windows so it's easier to work on them later on.

Mike_AI got it to work with polysplice! Thank you so much!
Polycut - or Polyslice?
There is however still a small snag that I cant figure out.
On the picture included, the blue outline clearly shows my intent to cut the plane into 3 seperate pieces.
The outline is positioned correctly as well.
But somehow the place is seemingly divided into 4 parts when you look at its coloring.
