"Shift+Enter" shortcut of the TAB menu

I have just accidentally discovered, after all these years, that if we have an operator selected while we're adding a new node, then if we press Shift+Enter in the TAB menu instead of just Enter to confirm our search, the new node will be automatically piped to the currently selected one. This enables rapid creation of node chains without taking our hands off from the keyboard!

Holy cow! That's super-duper useful! When was it added and how come I wasn't aware of the existence of such a nice feature? It's a small thing, I guess, but oh boy ‒ it brings so much joy.

It's always been that way, I think. At least in the last few years since I met Houdini.

Because you didn't read the docs . You should read them - there's a lot of nice stuff in there.
