vop vex question

Hi,
A few questions based on this:

It looks like the global variable position ( P ) is given in the camera space , is that right ? I have found that with the transform node I can switch to another space. Another thing is the fact that I am getting some banding and I don't know why ? Any idea ( maybe the bounding box of the scene should be specified or I must remap the values ) ?
How can I query the world space position of an object with vop ( here I am using a const ) ?
