I want the point instance objects get alpha from particle's alpha, but failed, is it a bug?

I created material with point attribute on, and particles has alpha made with color sop's alpha ramp tab($LIFE). When I render, the point instanced objects should get the alpha attribute from the popnet, but it doesn't work.
