I'm trying to move a object in the 3d space with the tool handles, but i getting this error: cannot map point beyond the horizon

but if i mode the object with the small box in the center of the handles i can move it, but not with the handles..
it's very strange, if i unparent my object i can move it just fin with the handles.

any ideas?
