Hello all,
I was wondering about the uv coordinates before and after converting a nurbs surface to a poly-mesh. The order of the nurbs surface seems to impact these a lot.
If one is using the the uv's to point to a location on a sphere for example, the same uv coord will point to a different point on the sphere before and after conversion, depending on the order of the surface. (for order 2, linear, it is the same) In the example of the sphere, the u-direction contracts. (See the attached images.)
Is this intentional / unavoidable?
Cheers,
Koen
