sort of new to 3d–know bryce, playing with cinema 4d, familiar with maya
what is houdini?–any comments waht it does re say maya or cinema4d is apprciated–i am playing with 3d applications to see4 which one is easy to teach/learn

I am sure you could find out a lot about Houdini and what it is through the website you're on www.sidefx.com.
If you need assistance browsing the website, Houdini is probably not for you as it is seen by many as being very complicated.

If your not familiar with procedural modeling… If I where you I would looking to know what that is through 3DBuzz.com (look for houdini). If you think that is too much? Then stick with maya. I'm a new be for a couple of months now and I'm still learning (yeah, I'm still drinking milk so what!). So if you're in for the long but rewarding journey jump on board.

Houdini is the best aplication ever , I started around 6 months a go and learning at www.cardanfx.net ( Because they also have training in spanish)and now I do everithing I need in Houdini I was using blender before.
