CIS Vancouver is actively seeking candidates to work in the Layout Department for a feature film project currently in pre-production and ramping up for production going through to October/November.

Candidates must have a basic understanding of integrating CG elements into a scene, including working with cameras, models, lighting rigs, and animation. You must be organized, detail-oriented, and technically-minded as the role involves troubleshooting scenes to ensure they meet specific requirements for rendering and the production pipeline.

Houdini experience is preferable, but not a requirement. A background in FX is also preferred but not required.

Scripting in python would be desirable.

1-2 years production experience in the VFX industry is desirable.
