I have an animated, static, deforming, object and a particle fluid setup.

The bottleneck in my sim is the generation of SDF, so I thought I'll just go and write it to file from a isooffset SOP, then read it in DOPS by setting the File Mode to “Read Files” but ho, behold!, my DOP network keeps recalculating the SDF.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm having this exact same problem. Pretty depressive to see “calculating SDF” after doing some furious SDF precalculation in SOPs. I'm using 10.0.465.

Is there a cure available ?

Hmmm, shouldn't you then have the dop network use Deforming Geometry?

Yes I should and that's how it's been set up. I reported a bug accompanied with a .hip.
