I am using Houdini 10.0.595 on my Mac.
When I go to the help pages, and compare them with what is shown for Houdini 9.1 in the “HOUDINI The great escape Vol.1” series, I do not get the same thing as what he shows..



I also note that it gives an error at the bottom of most web pages..



Is this something I need to fix - if so, what do I do please?

Additionally - I found a tutorial you offer on how to use the Help system in Houdini 9, and I do not see the help button in the upper right hand corner of the window, as is shown in the screenshot below - how do I get the help panel to work in Houdini 10?

And - in a related question..

I am on a Mac.
When in Houdini 10 - pressing the F1 thru F19 function keys does not work.
I get the default Mac shortcut assignments for those keys instead.

Is there a way to get these F-keys to work in Houdini please?
For example - the F1 key is supposed to bring up context sensitive help in Houdini, but the F1 key instead wants to lower the brightness of the Mac display.

I am not on a laptop, and do not have a “fn” option.
The modifier keys I have are: “control”, “option/alt”, and “command”.

The embedded browser was an option on other platforms in past versions but a floating browser was used on the Mac.

The start here help has changed in H11 - it doesn't come up automatically - you need to select Help > Start here.
