Please do not upgrade your other software's FBX import/export plugins to 2011.3. While it is only a dot-upgrade from 2011.2, the animation system in the new version has been completely re-written in a way that is incompatible with any older toolkit. This means these older toolkits cannot import the files exported with 2011.3 properly.

We're already working to fix the problem, but it may take a bit of time. Meanwhile, anything up to and including 2011.2 should be fine.
