It seems like we're up again. Go and fill your bellies with all that odforce goodness. Take it slowly though, we don't want any mess on the newly installed carpets.

Hey Marc,

It's odd. I can get to the main page and the forum page. But I can't seem to get into any of the forums to read the new messages. Simply get operation timed out messages.

Hey hey…looks like it's back up again…hopefully for good this time…(odd, wasn't up a half hour ago…now furiously downloading all effects challenge examples)

My pledge: “I promise to post more often”

Hmm…maybe I should rethink that… :?

Ah well. Welcome back Odforce!

I still can't inside any of the message forums. I can get to everywhere else but none of the forum links like the login page, search, forums, etc. I'm using www.odforce.net/forum. I even cleared my cookies and went back to IE to no avail. Perhaps my domain/subnet is being blocked from accessing odforce's forums?

Strange…I'm moving around the forums no problem, going into any of them…but when I click your link…nothing.

get rid of the www at the beginning of the address…seems to be the problem. So it's:

http://odforce.net/forum/ [odforce.net]

I can't reach odforce's main page if I use that link you give. For some reason, I must add the www. in front of it. I just noticed that all the links I tried did _not_ have www. in front of it so if I prefix it in then it works! Weird.

The reason why my link doesn't work is because the URL converter added the extra dot. Try this: http://www.odforce.net/forum [odforce.net]

Marc,
Why are all the links in the forum absolute URLs? I think if they were relative, then it'll work for me again. Looks like the DNS problem that I can access www.odforce.net but not odforce.net ?

I saw the extra dot when you first posted it…I trid it without and now, still doesn't work.

So…for me to get around I must omit the www and you have to include it?

As much as I use computers, the web is a straaaange place to me, yet I've made zero attempts to learn more…funny how that works…anyway

Hey guys

yeah, the dns is still messed up a little. It should be fixed on monday.

I tried to get in to change the forum to use www in front of the domain name, but since its broken for me too, I can't get it to work either .

Few more days…. (hold thumbs)

Ciao

Hi all,

We're back (mostly)!

http://odforce.net [odforce.net] works!

www.odforce.net doesn't quite yet.. hopefully fixing this doesn't break the other thing

It seems broken again. When I could get to it a half hour ago selecting the different tabs in the codex shaders all resulted in the same selections, so something was still amiss.

Hi Craig

Yeah the codex is still a little broken. Sadly the ftp access is still not activated so we can't get in to see whats wrong.
One step at a time eh?

Ciao
Marc

P.S. Lets hope its all fixed soon….

I don't know about averybody else but I cannot get anywhere farther than the main forum page. Clicking on any of the topics listed on main page or any forum itself does nothing. It's trying and trying and trying …….. to load
the page and than times out. That's it.

Hey Stremik,

This might make no sense, and might also be completely incorrect…so it's one of my typical posts

It seems that while I needed to omit the www from all of my URLs, Edward needed to inculde them…so…try both? If you're at the forum contents page, and you click on a link that isn't working, try adding or removing the preceding www from the URL.

Meh?
