Hi there! I'm facing an issue of colorspace at the moment. Hope someone here can help me out
So, I installed 20.5 and before checking all new features I replaced .ocio file in Houdini directory to get ACES. After that I discovered that now it's unnecessary, because of new OCIO Settings feature.
The problem is that I uninstalled Houdini, uninstalled Launcher, cleared cache, then reinstalled it, but Houdini is not letting me get into the OCIO Settings, giving me an error about that file I swaped.

never edit files in the Houdini directory directly.

To change the ocio config, houdini uses a package called ocio.json in the packages folder of your Houdini preferences directory, or any other directory in the Houdini path such as HSITE. This file won't exist until modifying settings from the ocio editor from within Houdini.

For fixing your error, I would check if there is an ocio package in your prefs folder pointing to some config that doesn't exist or is otherwise invalid. Uninstalling Houdini rarely fixes errors, except in the case of editing the install files, as the problem is almost always in your prefs folder. The launcher can also repair an install by redownloading modified files.

Thank you for your reply, I contacted support team and they told me just to rename/delete the old Houdini folder from $HOME directory before reinstalling and it worked, I've got a clean Houdini version.
