Hello,
Seeing a recent Journal entry reminded me of a recent desire to be able to set the ambient temperature in a Gas simulation. Currently the ambient temperature is zero, I believe - and the “Cooling Rate” refers to how the temperature field moves toward zero (it “Cools” by getting warmer if the field temperature is sub-zero, actually; kind of unfortunate naming) . We were running very cold simulations trying to keep the gas on the ground and found that it may be useful to be able to set the ambient temperature of the system.
I'll attach a simple setup to illustrate our (quite encouraging and interesing) results too.
