Hi!

when I type hconfig in terminal, it says that there is no such command
same thing happens in a textport

is there something wrong with my path variables, so the program can't find hconfig file?
I'm using Suse linux

you may need to explicitly source the houdini_setup file in your terminal. That file will set up the PATH variable. The hconfig is located in the bin subdirectory withn the directory where you installed houdini. The $HB points to that directory ($HB is also defined by houdini_setup).
