Please, SESI give us (newbies ) in depth tutorials for the muscle system. From what i am seeing there is only one tutorial for v8 witch is kind of basic. What I would like to see how to apply proper jiggle. Possibility to paint different kind of attributes like in Maya (wrinkles, sliding…etc)or some kind of analog to this.Is there a way to shape the muscles in more complex shapes like in Maya using component mode for the handles? Also how to deal with the speed on a viewport when complex muscle rig is created. I tried to open the Leopard file from Houdini Exchange but is almost impossible to move on a viewport, even the level of detail is set 0.1.
If somebody has answers to this questions I will be happy to hear them.

There is lack of tutorials and workflow techniques for this great character tool that houdini offer to us.

Thanks

3DBuzz has a bunch of tutorials for rigging.
Have you tried there?

They have like 5 DVDs on rigging, and I'm assuming rigging covers muscles and painting weights. Of course their site is down so who knows!

No, these DVDs cover a lot of stuff, but not muscles. I remember guys from OdForce and SideFX saying that since the muscle tools are new, and not yet very complete, it is not a good idea to make DVDs on them. They also said that muscles in Houdini should only be used if you know what you are doing.

But of course, I will also be very happy for more material on this subject.
