I am using H10 apprentice and I am going over the Dynamics pdf which was made back in H8.
It all still makes sense and I can find where everything is with the UI changes except for one thing.
This is the pdf tutorial with a vase that breaks apart, and at one point a Geometry node is used to fetch a piece of the fractured vase to have its translation keyframed after cahing the simulation.
An Object Merge node is used to copy the piece to be keyframed.
In the DOP network, the pdf says to hide the original piece of the vase by putting: ^vase4* in the “Display Data Mask” field under the Simulation tab.
No such field exists there now.
How would I now go about hiding that portion of geometry?
I tried in the “Group Mask” field in the vase object's node inside the DOP network, but to no avail.

I know quite a bit has changed since H8, but this tut is still proving to be helpful with how it all works…just a UI stumbling block with this.
