I made some render on my windows machine and got such statistics

Render Time: 56.453u 1.015s
Memory: 174.76 MB of 175.77 MB arena size

not so bad for PentiumD workstation.

but same scene (with same result!) was computed with next statistics

Render Time: 5:59.61u 10.15s 2:40.29r
Memory: 23.65 MB of 30.15 MB arena size. VM Size: 737.14 MB

on the other 8-core linux system.

What happened, may anyone explain me?
