As I know, there is possibility to render from prman directly to mplay using d_houdini.so
I tried, it works, but when I perform remote rendering on Linux envirinment - it stucks and says something about DISPLAY variable. Ok, I understand, something have to make display driver know about host, where mplay is waiting for data. If I use pixar's “it” and socket-display driver - I just need to set REMOTEHOST to hostname value. What I have to do for mplay?
Thank you!
How to setup environment to use remotely mplay?
