i know that attenuation in PBR never worked by default just as a very costly hack but since we have now Surface Model which should work in all rendering engines i think that it should work for PBR too
are there plans to make Surface Model fully compatible with PBR? or is there any technical problem implementing fast attenuation in PBR?
