Hi, i'm trying to get similar effect like ‘sine deformer’ in maya, basically i simply just want to rig a snake or long creature moving underwater (moving by waving its body). So i used ‘path’ node, then chop network-> add wave node for each pathcv, each ‘wave’ node has its own shift value. then export chop. I got my path now following ‘sine’ wave movement. Next step : i need to make each patcv to create adaptive movement (if i'm thinking this pathcv as the tangent point of the curve then i want it automatically adjust the slope for shaping the curve). I use ‘lookat’ method so each pathcv will ‘lookat’ the previous pathcv in the hirarchy. So now i got better smoother movement, but still i'm not happy coz its not perfectly natural movement. So anyone can help me out ? if anyone have experience on this subject pls give me a clue ? any related tutorial link or tip/trik? any better method? Also what's the procedural approach about how to get the body to turn while it's waving the body? i was thinking using deformer but this can stretch the body quite bad , don't you think?

thanx
Andi
