The Aim is to create a orthgraphic width attribute on a camera that auto fits to a bounding box.
I created a VOP sop that reads in a max_UV detail attribute. I then split that off so I get a maxium U value and a maxium V value for the points of the bound when viewed through the camera. If I alter the orthwidth parameter on the camera of course it alters the value of my max_uv detail attribute.
I figured I could compare the value of the UV so if the max_U and max V values fall to <= 1 everything would be contained in the camera view. All this could be contained in an if statement. So the orthowidth value would change until the max_U and V held true.
Am I barking up the wrong tree ? I don't know. I wondered if I can add or take away a from a value until a statement held true. Would appreciate a view on my mad idea. Scene attached.
