I cannot select any faces on objects. when I try to select faces the entire object gets hilighted, then I click again but the whole object is still hiligted.


Geometry select mode<Primitives then click on the cursor button “select s ” as i have been doing since i started Houdini, but i get the same results.

I closed and opened the file again, but it still didnt let me select faces. it is possible that i pressed somthing. my laptop dropped and when i caught it in the air i pressed a lot of buttons on my keyboard.

can someone help? i was doing pretty fine with my modeling until now.

Right-click on the geometry select mode button. Make sure both “Select Whole Geometry” and “Select Connected Geometry” are turned OFF.

ahhh thank you… it worked. back to modeling!
