Hello, I'm new here. I've been messing around with the volumetric fluids for a while now, and I've been getting some nasty banding which, try as I might, I can't seem to get rid of. I've toggled just about every variable I can think of. The banding appears to occur at the voxel cell divisions. And they do not appear to be waves, either.
The pictures I'm sending have ghost fluid enabled, and are not using marker particles. When compared to a similar scene rendered in Fedkiw's Physbam, does not exhibit the banding/contouring artifacts. Upresing results in higher frequency bands. Is there a filtering/“fast marching” setting that I might be missing?
