Just out of curious I was wondering if you have any informations about Houdinis market share - how widely it is used?

I'm working in Houdini for years and I love to know simply how statistically it appears between products of autodesk and other companies (if such informations even exists).
I would be very thankfully for such info!

there was a survey done way back…3-4 years ago I think…
it was informal but you might try searching for it…

Personally I think its also a valid question for anyone looking to invest time into a tool. Should I learn X, are there jobs available for Y, etc etc.

Plus watching people try to guess the actual size of the VFX industry is a interesting debate unto itself.

you can get an idea by looking at their annual report (publicly traded)..
