is there a way to set variables in the houdini.env file that contains $ in the value vor example $BASENAME_bak$N3, it seems that as soon as the $ is used in the value the variable is not set

it seems that $BASENAME is not defined, so $ is not the problem, but the variable $BASENAME,
in older versions there was a $BASENAME variable
