Is there a way that I could add a right click menu with shortcuts to nodes? I'm looking for something similar to Maya/3ds max marking menus.

I hoping to group common nodes that I use for quick access.

There is a OPmenu file in houdini path($HFS/houdini). Copy this file to your $HOME/houdini12.x directory and add your custom menu items there.
