It should be great if we have HDK forum for just special HDK questions :!: :?: :?

I am just new to the forums, but it seems like a very very good idea. Having previously developed plugins for After Effects and Nuke, I really appreciated that Adobe and Foundry have had separate forums for native plugin development - even separate from scripting!! - discussions can get very involved and confusing even without posts targeting other technologies.

Yes , we have too many questions about HDK that are broadcasted on different forums .
So if we have one special place for these questions , it's so easier and better than before for searching special answer or solution , in my opinion HDK answers and questions are different with other Houdini questions :?

it would also be helpful if we could search only titles and search using quotations. it would probably help reduce multiple posts on the same subject and increase knowledge sharing.

I agree, specially if you need to do a search for HDK related stuff.

1 - there is an HDK sectioon at odforce.net but it doesn't get much traffic
2 - the forum software used here at SESI is old, to put it kindly…you're not going to get the kind of searching functionality you want until the forums are updated…

Yes , I know about odforce and this site is really great place for Houdini users , But I just like to have same thing in the Houdini forum :cry:

Just post your HDK related issues in the Technical Discussion forum. If we see enough volume to warrant its own forum, we'll add one, but for now we'll just keep it here. Sound good?
